Expert Bio

Taylor Poole is a Program Intern for the Wilson Center’s Polar Institute. As Program Intern, she manages the technical aspects of the Arctic Infrastructure Inventory, including the project’s data collection initiatives. Since joining the Wilson Center in May 2020 she has built the AII methodology from its inception and has overseen the integration of thousands of new records. Her research interests lie in US Arctic policy, Russian Arctic policy, and US-Russia relations. She received her B.S. in International Affairs and Applied Linguistics and Intercultural Studies from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing an M.S. in International Security. She enjoys travel and reading in her spare time.
