Expert Bio
Dr. Hyginus Banko Okibe holds a PhD Degree in Political Science. He is a Senior Lecturer at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Department of Political Science and at the Institute for Peace, Conflict and Development Studies department of the university. He has research interests in social sciences subjects, governance, and development. Currently, he is the Director of Work Ethics at the University, the Coordinator of Postgraduate Program in the Department of Political Science, and the Secretary of Nigerian Political Science Association, Southeast Zone in Nigeria. He is also a guest speaker on political issues on radio and TV programs. He is happily married with lovely children. His hobbies include reading, writing, speaking, and traveling. He is currently a Southern Voices Network for Peacebuilding (SVNP) Scholar during the summer 2022 (May to August) term at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC.
