Expert Bio
Since 2015, Thomas Rotnem's scholarly focus has been on Russia's Arctic policy, as well as China's collaborative interests with the Kremlin, in Russia's Far North. His current project focuses on "The Impact of the Northern Sea Route Project upon Human and Environmental Security in Russia's Arctic Regions." Rotnem also teaches a seminar course at his university on "Arctic Politics, Policy, and Security in a Changing Environment."
