Expert Bio
Stephen Ezell is Vice President of Global Innovation Policy at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a Washington-DC based technology and economic policy think tank, where he focuses on science, technology, and innovation policy as well as international competitiveness, trade, and manufacturing policy issues. He is co-author with Robert Atkinson of Innovation Economics: The Race for Global Advantage (Yale, 2012) and co-author with Richard Cuthbertson and Peder Inge Furseth of Innovating in a Service-Driven Economy: Insights, Application, and Practice (Palgrave MacMillan, 2015). Ezell came to ITIF from Peer Insight, an innovation research and consulting firm he co-founded in 2003. He previously worked in the new product development group at NASDAQ. Ezell holds a B.S. from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, with an Honors Certificate from Georgetown’s Landegger International Business Diplomacy (IBD) program.
