Lívia Peres Milani is a doctorate student in International Relations at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Graduate Program in International Relations “San Tiago Dantas” (UNESP, UNICAMP, PUC-SP). She holds a master’s by the São Paulo State University (UNESP), where she was a lecturer in 2017. Currently, she is a Visiting Researcher at Georgetown University Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS). Her research analyzes U.S.-South American security relations, with a focus on the U.S. bilateral relationships with Brazil and Argentina in the years from 2003 to 2015. She interned at the Brazil Institute in Spring 2019.
