Georgiy Kasianov is a professor at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Lublin, Poland. He is a past scholar of the Kennan Institute (2003) and the Fulbright Program (1995, 2019). He specializes in the history of Ukraine in the 19th to 21st centuries. His most recent book is Memory Crash: Politics of History in and around Ukraine, 1980s–2010s (Budapest, Hungary: CEU Press, 2022).
