Expert Bio
Diego Molano Vega is an International Consultant specializing in Digital Transformation of Companies and Governments. He is a Senior Advisor to both McKinsey & Co and the Inter-American Development Bank. He was Minister of Information and Communication Technologies of Colombia from 2010 to 2015, where he introducted the policy plan “Vive Digital”, which aims to reduce poverty and create jobs through the use of technology.
He has had an extensive career in the technology industry, having held high-level executive positions in multinational companies such as BellSouth (now AT&T) in the United States and Telefonica in Spain. He is a regular speaker at international venues, such as the World Economic Forum.
Mr. Molano holds degrees in electrical engineering and economics from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, as well as an MBA from IMD Switzerland.
