Catherine Osborn is an independent journalist based in Brazil for over ten years. She is the writer of Foreign Policy’s weekly Latin America Brief, which covers politics, economics, the environment, and culture in the region and often includes interviews with policymakers. Her writing and reporting on Latin America has also been published by outlets including Foreign Affairs, NPR, PRX/GBH’s The World, and the Atlantic, and her commentary has appeared in Brazilian and international media.
