Expert Bio
Brooke Sherman is an Associate with the Middle East Program (MEP) at the Wilson Center. Her research focuses on the socioeconomic landscape of the Middle East and North Africa region, particularly for women and youth, and advancements in economic diversification. Ms. Sherman manages the Enheduanna blog, coordinates MEP's high-level events and meetings, and supports the growth and implementation of new initiatives. In 2022, she launched the Art in MENA series featuring the work and stories of 'art activists' from the region.
Ms. Sherman received a B.A. in Economics & Political Science from McGill University in Montreal, QC.
