Expert Bio
Ashley Schuett is a Staff Assistant Intern with the Science & Technology Innovation Program’s THING Tank Initiative, conducting research on open science and its intersection with cybersecurity. She received a BS in Information Science and Technology from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. After graduation she worked as a software engineer, focusing on open-source software, which culminated in the opportunity to work for Red Hat. Taking her passion for all things Open, she is pursuing her M.A. in International Science and Technology Policy at George Washington University focusing on privacy and equitability in emerging technology.
