Anders Beal is a senior associate in the Wilson Center’s Latin America Program. His research interests include the governance of natural resources and the environment, the transition to renewable energy and critical mineral supply chains, and the social and economic impacts of climate change in the Western Hemisphere. Prior to the Wilson Center, he worked for several non-profit organizations and as an independent consultant. From 2013-2014 he served as Assistant to the Executive Secretary in the Chilean American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Chile) where he supported bilateral cooperation on energy issues through the US-Chile Energy Business Council. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish & Economics and master’s degree in Global Policy from the University of Maine.
