Mr. Wallace is President and CEO of Investamex, an investment and consulting firm he co-founded in 1993. Previously, he was the Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs at the United States Embassy in Mexico City and Co-Chair of the U.S.-Mexico Environmental Business Committee. He has also served as the Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade at the U.S. Department of Commerce where he received the Department’s highest award for his role in coordinating the Commerce Department's responsibilities during the preparatory phases of the North American Free Trade negotiations. Mr. Wallace received his bachelor's degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington. He received his master's degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston and did post graduate work at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. He speaks Spanish and French.
