Gamuchirai Pamela Mhute was a Program Associate with the Wilson Center Africa Program where she previously worked as a Program Assistant (Director's Office). Prior to joining the Wilson Center, Gamuchirai served as an International Programs Intern with the International Peace and Security Institute. She received her B.A in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. She recently received her M.A. in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University. Originally from Zimbabwe, Gamuchirai is fluent in Shona and is interested in peacebuilding in Sub-Saharan Africa.
