Planning for Change: Public Service for Sustainable Development
A career in public service offers unique opportunities to be of service to the public while helping to build a prosperous and sustainable America. There are many challenges, however, in finding solutions that work across sectors and constituencies. How can public servants bring people together across the public and private sector to create impact that will last long after their time of service? Join us for a discussion with Wilson Center Fellow and career U.S. foreign service officer Joseph Cassidy and members of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation’s 2017 class of Leadership Fellows. They will tell us about the path their careers have taken and the challenges and opportunities public service brings.
Media guests, including TV crews, are welcome and should RSVP directly to Benjamin.Dills@wilsoncenter.org. Media bringing heavy electronics MUST indicate this in their response so they may be cleared through our building security and allowed entrance. Please err toward responding if you would like to attend.
