The former Premier of Alberta, Jim Prentice, is now a Visiting Global Fellow with the Wilson Center’s Canada Institute. He’s writing a book with the working title, “Canada, Energy, and the Environment.” Prentice says that when it comes to energy resources, “Canadian governments play checkers, while others play chess.” His thoughts on what Canada needs to do to reach its global energy potential provide the focus for this edition of Wilson Center NOW.
